Barra 1866 Cowboy Air Rifle

Description

In 1848, Walter Hunt invented a ?Volition Repeating Rifle? that used a complex system of mechanics and a lever to make it possible for a marksman to quickly fire a new type of ammunition. Hunt called this ammunition the ?Rocket Ball? due to its hollow base that contained the powder needed to fire the bullet. From the 1850s through the 1860s Hunt?s inventions would rapidly be modified and improved upon creating the repeating cowboy rifles known today as the weapons of the old west. The Barra Cowboy Series 1866 multi-pump lever pays homage to some of those first legendary rifles and the cowboys of today.
